From my early experience as a developer, I realized that novice AI users face several challenges at the same time.
First, they need to learn a new technology and understand how to use it correctly. Then, they must avoid falling into the illusion that AI can instantly solve complex problems or dramatically reduce delivery time.
Another important challenge is communication. AI users must be able to explain clearly to CEOs, tech leads, managers, or non-technical stakeholders that AI is a productivity accelerator, not a magic solution. It can help with analysis, documentation, prototyping, and code generation, but real project progress still requires human understanding, validation, testing, architecture decisions, security checks, and business knowledge.
Without this clarification, AI can create confusion, disappointment, or unrealistic expectations about project delivery.
