For 4 - Word Analogy Task
the last cell outputs:
italy → italian :: spain → spanish
india → delhi :: japan → tokyo
man → woman :: boy → girl
small → smaller :: large → smaller
I’m a bit curious about the last line. I passed all the test. What is wrong here?
If you passed all the tests then you should be OK! What could be wrong is that the model needs further training to associate the correct input->outputs.
Sometimes and because models work with probabilities the wrong output is predicted, because the model has not been fit accurately.
As Gent says, we probably need more training and more data to get a better model. They even point out in the notebook that this model has issues. There is this “hint” after that section:
Hint: Try to find some other analogy pairs that will work, along with some others where the algorithm doesn’t give the right answer:
* For example, you can try small->smaller as big->?
