in anomaly detection, for gaussian algorithm, why are we plotting various independent features x1, x2 as they are dependent on each other. I dont really understand how are features x1 and x2 related

It’s just a nice 2D plot to show the collection of data.
The important info is in the two plots of x1 and x2.
so they are two independent values?
so it is not (x1,x2) to denote a point in the 1st graph?
The first image is not a graph. It’s just a scatter plot of observed data.
Whether the two features are independent does not matter for the context of this example.
