Aviation & AI & ML

Hi Everyone,

I graduated last October with a Bachelor’s degree in Business (Aviation Management), and I am a planner and operations coordinator in the aviation sector.

I am actively seeking to upskill by learning AI and ML, which offers long-term career growth and adaptability.

I have been using Chat GPT since November 2023, but I have decided to dedicate myself to properly learn from the ground up. I have just literally finished Andrew Ng’s Generative AI for Everyone. I have absolutely loved that. I wish I had modules and lecturers like that in the university.

I have two questions. For a moment I thought that the Coursera Plus subscription allowed me to take DeepLearning content according to Chat GPT’s o3, which turns out not to be the case. I see that each individual DeepLearning module is paid separately. Which I am fine with.

However, while I am amused with the selections, I find it hard to navigate and structure my learning path. I need to start from the ground up in a linear way towards a ML engineer or similar (which I will for sure be able to tell later, after gaining knowledge and familiarity, which direction I will want to specialise). I need to find the right balance that progressively builds upwards, but includes important side elements as well. I don’t want to waste time with taking many basic modules that mostly overlap, nor leave something out and jumping into something that I am not ready for either.

Can someone direct me what is the most cost effective way of purchasing modules?
Can someone share pathways to follow in the DeepLearning verse from beginner to advanced?

Thanks for your coaching and happy learning to everyone.

Try using a forum search for the word “roadmap”.

Hi TMosh,

Thanks for your prompt response.

I am sorry, I meant to add an other line in my text (but I forgot) saying that I know this topic must have been discussed to death, but after using the search, I still wonder, if I could get a link to one of the best threads out there ponting in the right direction.

I ll keep browsing.

Thanks

Z

Perhaps someone will provide that for you.
