C1W1 error coping in SageMaker

I’ve opened the Sagemaker terminal window and entered the following command:
aws s3 cp --recursive s3://dlai-practical-data-science/labs/c1w1-474798/ ./

and it returns:
bash: aws: command not found

Am I entering the correct cp command?

That is the correct command and works for me in a SageMaker Studio terminal, so not sure what’s going on. Maybe try shutting down the Jupyter app (under File menu in the studio) and restarting Studio? Anybody else have ideas?

This may happen if Image terminal was opened instead of System terminal

OMFG… thank you for sharing the screen shot. I read “System terminal” in the instructions as “a terminal on MY system,” not realizing that was a thing in the SageMaker Studio window. Have been struggling with all the AWS-related parts.
