# \#c1w4 Cannot Create RDS Vector DB

I am working on 2.4 and encountered the following. Does anyone know how to solve it? Thanks!

i had the same issue and i’ve fixed it.  
run this command to check which postgreSQL version are availible in your region: aws rds describe-db-engine-versions --engine postgres --query “DBEngineVersions.EngineVersion”

then go to terraform/module/vertor-db/rds.tf  
find the following:  
resource “aws\_db\_instance” “master\_db” {  
identifier = “${var.project}-vector-db”  
allocated\_storage = 20  
max\_allocated\_storage = 0  
storage\_type = “gp2”  
engine = “postgres”  
engine\_version = “valid-version” ← Updated to a valid version  
port = 5432  
instance\_class = “db.t3.micro”  
db\_name = “postgres”  
username = var.master\_username  
password = random\_id.master\_password.id  
publicly\_accessible = true  
skip\_final\_snapshot = true  
db\_subnet\_group\_name = aws\_db\_subnet\_group.vector\_db\_subnet\_group.id  
vpc\_security\_group\_ids = [  
aws\_security\_group.vector\_db\_sg.id  
]  
}

I went to the AWS console and tried 16.3, it’s working now. The team might have to update the tf code thanks! 😊
