I do not understand this. Multiply what by what? and sum all the blue curves? how?
That’s an error in the transcript. He says “one over N”, not “one of our end”.
I’ll report it to the course staff for repair.
Also can you explain to me in simpler way how to add up the kernels.
Unless you have a specific interest in this topic. I don’t think you need to worry about it. I don’t think it is covered in any of the quizzes, and you will not have to implement any code regarding kernels.
It’s not really a significantly important topic for this course.
We can certainly continue to discuss it here if you are curious.
