Can't complete the course on the basic subscription

Hello, Andrew and the DeepLearning team,

I am stuck with the completion of the “AI Prompting for Everyone” course. The progress shows 89%, and I can’t make it any further. I’m on a basic tier, and all steps from all three modules are either completed or locked under the “pro” subscription.

That’s the first course out of 8 I completed on your platform, and I encountered such an issue with it. I already re–checked the course several times and tried another browser. Nothing helps.

I initially chatted with an AI bot, then submitted a support ticket, and now follow a recommendation from an auto-reply to create a community topic.

Can you help me with this issue?

You must have a Pro subscription to access to the graded assignments and complete the course.

Thanks for your reply. My concern is that I could pass 6 other courses for 100% without passing the PRO modules, and they were counted towards my percent of completion automatically. Was this logic changed, or does it vary course-by-course?

for the 6 courses you did, did you get certification without Pro subscription?

you probably must have done some of the earlier short courses, ai for everyone doesn’t come in the short course category

I agree, were the other courses from the Short Course catalog?
Short Courses do not require a Pro membership.

I checked my completed courses. Most of them are indeed short courses, but there’s also the “AI for Everyone” course completed on 100% without a certification. I think it just counted all locked PRO sections as completed by default :thinking:

But that actually might make sense. Maybe certifications are not counted towards 100%, but steps like “experimenting labs” are actually counted. That actually might be the explanation

I don’t know whether (or why) “AI for Everyone” and “AI Prompting for Everyone” would perhaps have different rules.

ai for everyone is not a short course, one requires to have prosubscription for access to graded and certificates.
