I tried to run magic_summation.py in the 2.7 python environment. The error i got was that the numpy package was not available. I tried running the conda install numpy with and without pinning. However, the installation always fails!
For this exercise, please work in the Python 3 assignment environment. You do not need to install NumPy or any other libraries from the terminal.
The purpose of the exercise is to update the existing magic_summation.py code from Python 2 to Python 3 while maintaining its original functionality. Use the existing numpy.random as specified in the instructions, and do not add the Python random library.
The Python 2.7 environment is provided only if you want to run the original version and compare its behavior. It is not required for completing the assignment.
Once you have made your changes, remain in the assignment environment and test your solution using:
python unittests.py
Also, please avoid modifying the iterator() function, as the instructions specifically indicate that this is not necessary.
