Easily using 3D CAD data for Machine learning

Hello! I’m looking for ways to use data from a 3D CAD model as input into a ML model. The idea is to train a model that can predict a certain outcome based on the geometry of the CAD model.

While DXF is broad, STEP is pretty universal. Of course then you might have some (but not all) of the material properties you are interested in. So when you say ‘predict’, I think it highly depends on what you are trying to predict.

For example, predict Cd of a particular shape by training the model with data from CFD simulations
