Resigned from my Workday Data Conversions consulting job in October, looking to move to data engineering. Consulting had a lot of turnover and I’d prefer to build stronger connections with my colleagues, move to more technical work where there may be more variety in problem solving rather than the focus being low code coordination. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in applied mathematics focusing on probability theory, before moving to the Workday ecosystem I developed an automated QA platform for American Express’s third party risk assessment team, hoping to eventually do Georgia Tech OMSCS.
