I’m curious about how AI can actually be used in architectural design.
Could it go beyond generating forms to help with things like site analysis, sustainability, or even user interaction?
Can AI truly support creativity, or will it limit originality by following data-driven patterns?
I don’t know the answers yet, but I’d love to hear what others think and what possibilities or concerns they see.
AI may create combinations of what it was trained on, which sometimes may make sense and hence lead to creativity!
That seems to be quite a challenge. Architectural projects seem to each have unique requirements and constraints, and it might be difficult to get a usable training set of data.
I think and Believe in my search, i have come across strong SaaS platforms that are doing these. @TMosh , was saying one such example was to generate AWS Architecture diagram ( now we don’t need Architects - that was the positioning) from English Prompts. But it needed Infra Setup, Calls to AWS Layers, AWS Agents, AWS Storage, (icons and lines) etc. Just image the kind of actors, actions, elements, formats and additional items are needed. This has been achieved. I just got to try it out on my Laptop.
