I'm having trouble with the grader Programming Assignment: Social Network Database Fix

Hello @Bobac80 , this post has already been solved, its better for you to create a new post and post in post the grader’s message when it grades your work, so maybe we can give you some feedback.

Hi gent.spah
this is the rater’s message. There was a problem compiling the code from your notebook, please check that you saved before submitting. Details:
name ‘session’ is not defined. But I already went through this problem with chat.GPT and after going through everything in detail in the code there is Session = sessionmaker(bind=engine)
session = Session()

@Bobac80, I think Mentor Gent meant to say “start a new topic”, not just post another message on this one.

As I said its better to create a new post! Are you calling the load_dataset() function after its defined, directly below it or maybe you have deleted that cell by my mistake?

I managed to find a solution, I finished the task. Thank you very much
because when I discovered the answer from the grader with Chat GBT. I
started again from the beginning.

Hi, i am having similar issue. COuld you please look into this?

If the grader is throwing the same error for every function, it means there is an error in your notebook that is making the grader crash. It isn’t necessarily an error in the get_club_members() function.

For one example, often this sort of issue is caused if you add an “import” statement somewhere that it doesn’t belong.

Sorry, I’m not a mentor for that course, hopefully someone with detailed knowledge will stop by.

Hello can you check what the grader is saying? Have you imported from some learner_mod library anything?

Thanks for your reply. i could send you the file, perhaps? All tested were ok but cant get my head around to resolve this.

I’m not a mentor for that course, so I don’t know what the correct solution should look like.

Hey @nakuloven,

You can send it to me, I’ll debug it. It looks like deleted the function “load_data_from_csv” perhaps? Or moved it from its initial place?

Anyway, you can send me so I’ll check it out.

Thanks,
Lucas

sent in your message.

i noticed several issues with the code errors across files, and therefore the assignemnt doesnt seem to be ok. i’ve let lucas aware about this and waiting on the response. This has caused significant issues and unable to complete the course,

Did you try to reset the Lab files at all, as I suggested on our private conversation?

ok…i am dying rn…i have been on this for 3 full days…and nothing seems to work…i restarted the kernals…did everything i possible could…does anyone have the passed folder if yes…drop it here…save me guys

Finally…i did it…{mentor edit}

So what was the problem in short?

Does your repo contain your solution for this assignment?

i am not sure about the problem either…at first i was about to give up…but i saw this forum and tried restarting the kernel with all cells, and then i tried debugging which failed miserably…so i redo-ed everything…so step 1 start from the beginning again and step 2 restart the kernel with all cells…now complete the grade cells…
