Is Deep Learning only for supervised Learning?

Just Started unsupervised learning in this specialization. Just curious can deep learning/neural network applies to unsupervised learning as well?

Hi @Kesavan_Ramalingam, as indicated by @elirod , autoencoders are a good example. In this case, the idea is to use the outputs of a hidden layer (latent space) which is generally of reduced dimension compared to the number of model inputs (dimensionality reduction). This latent space will therefore be a representation of the input but of reduced size (do some searches on autoencoders and curse of dimensionality…).
