Issue with The Determinant (3x3) in-video quiz explanation

I’m enjoying this class. It was exactly what I was hoping for when it was announced.

I just had a minor issue to point out regarding the in-video quiz for the The Determinant (3x3) video.

The issue is that the explanation for the answers for each determinant given used cofactor expansion, rather than the method that the instructor gave. (Apparently that method he used is called the Rule of Sarrus, according to some googling on my part. )

Hello @Inntr8 , Please share the video’s link and the timestamp

Hi @Isaak_Kamau , it was around 3:00 on https://www.coursera.org/learn/machine-learning-linear-algebra/lecture/967dJ/the-determinant-3x3 , but someone has fixed it.

This issue still exists. Is the instructor going to explain the other formula in upcoming classes?
