But no longer.
I’m a network engineer and in the last couple of years I’ve been working as a NOC manager. I literally became a network engineer because I never liked to code, even though I recognize how useful it can be. Maybe it was because university forced me to learn Java. lol
I’ve gotten less technical in my new role, but generative AI has peaked my interest. Looking to learn how to code very late in my career now that AI has made it easier to learn and to do smaller projects that could help my everyday tasks. Also working on improving my skills with prompting ChatGPT, finding it very helpful for analyzing packet captures, assisting in troubleshooting, and creating reports.
