Hi fellow learners!
As someone exploring NLP from the ground up, I recently wrote a blog that breaks down one of the foundational concepts in NLP — Morphology.
In this blog, I tried to explain:
- What morphology is and why it’s essential in NLP
- How understanding word forms helps machines better process language
- Real-world examples from morphologically rich languages like Telugu (but applicable to many others!)
- Where morphology fits into systems like machine translation, search, and voice assistants
- How even one word can carry multiple layers of meaning (tense, person, gender, etc.)
I’ve kept it beginner-friendly, but informative enough to give clarity to anyone building NLP systems or learning the theory.

Would love your feedback, suggestions, or even ideas on what to explore next!
I’m planning a daily blog series on NLP concepts and would love to improve along the way.
