\*\* I replied in haste from my phone and only saw the first of your recent messages. I agree that you may need to use _pip_ though it is not preferred to mix it with _conda_ in one environment. See the _Anaconda_ provided guide linked below

[https://pypi.org/project/emoji/1.2.0/#files](https://pypi.org/project/emoji/1.2.0/#files)

Looks like the back level file is still available at least for \*emoji•

You could try using _pip_ to force the version, but read this before proceeding…

[https://www.anaconda.com/blog/using-pip-in-a-conda-environment](https://www.anaconda.com/blog/using-pip-in-a-conda-environment)

Then

pip install emoji==1.2.0

Hello ai\_curious,

Thank you for your reply and the reminder.

After using pip install within the conda local environment, (music21, mido, pydub, pyaudio, emoji)

Good news! Course 5 Wk1 Ass3 Jazz Solo with LSTM Works!!
Course5Wk2Ass1, Course5Wk2Ass2 (word vectors, emoji) works, after the adjustment of the reading format encoding. Course5Wk3Ass1 - trigger word not working yet.

For Course5Wk4, 2 out of 4 of the Transformers assignments are working. However, it is unstable. Sometimes it is working, sometimes it is not. Sometimes, I need to close the programs, even reboot my computer to clear the memory. What is a good way of clearing the memory? I will write a separate post on Transformers assignments with questions.

Thank you very much for all your input. Wish you a Happy New Year.

Cindy
