Hi everyone!
My name is Sahana, and I’m a high school student. I recently built a web app called DeepFocus that helps students track distraction patterns and improve focus habits.
If you have a minute, I’d really appreciate it if you could make an account and take a quick look:

Would love any feedback — and if there are any opportunities to collaborate or test it with students, please let me know. Thanks!
Congrats on your application. This looks like a time tracking application inspired by pomodoro technique. The reason for bringing this up is that a lot of desktop / applications are available for free that do this.
Here’s some feedback after using the Try demo option to use the application:
- Clicking on
I got distracted adds time to the current task rather than pause the task.
- The timer resets to the initial duration if you switch between tasks. That’s incorrect.
- It’d be nice to group tasks. For instance, you could have a morning study routine composed of a series of tasks. These tasks could be scheduled for every weekday.
- In the insights section, there’s no explanation of how focus rating is calculated.
- Productivity trend graph has no axis labels.
Good luck.
