Hi @Omar_Agiez.
In a system of equations, there can be:
- No solution
- One solution
- Many but finite solutions
- Infinitely many solutions
A system of equations can be solved analytically but can also be solved by graphs. When you plot those equations, the solutions are represented by the intersections of those plots.
- No intersection means no solution
- One intersection means one solution
- Many intersections means many solutions
- Infinitely many intersections (represented by straight/curved line or even a plane)
In the quiz, they used three simple equations graphically represented by the three planes (yellow, green, and orange). The blue dot/line represents the intersection of those planes.
