Quiz Matrices help

Hi @Omar_Agiez.

In a system of equations, there can be:

  • No solution
  • One solution
  • Many but finite solutions
  • Infinitely many solutions

A system of equations can be solved analytically but can also be solved by graphs. When you plot those equations, the solutions are represented by the intersections of those plots.

  • No intersection means no solution
  • One intersection means one solution
  • Many intersections means many solutions
  • Infinitely many intersections (represented by straight/curved line or even a plane)

In the quiz, they used three simple equations graphically represented by the three planes (yellow, green, and orange). The blue dot/line represents the intersection of those planes.
