# RateLimitError despite full credits

I’ve followed all the instructions and am getting a “RateLimitError: You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details” when I run “get\_completion(“What is 1+1?”)”.

I am a GPT4 PLus Subscriber and have full credits for the month ($18). And I am using my own API Key.

Retry after some time.  
Send fewer tokens or requests

Thank you. I thought I had some API credits as a GPT Plus subscriber, but that was not the case. I then bought credits and it’s working now. 🙄
