Hi,
I am at Module 2 Coding assignment. I am not able to find any notebook where i can update code. There are just Submission instructions.
I tried clicking Submit Assignment, hoping it would take me to the notebook but it actually submitted the assignment(which it should) without any changes from me on the notebook.
Can you please guide me how to open the assignment notebook?
Did you get help/ figure it out? The notebook is in the middle pane. I find it might take a few minutes to load the content.
is your account Free tier or Pro tier? my account is free tier, therefore I saw a “Start Free Trial” button on left pane.
hi @jprateck
Please try clearing your cache and browsing history, then relogin in the website and try to access the notebook assignment page. as @colm_odonnell mentioned the module 2 assignment notebook might take a bit more time to load than usual, so if you see any image loading then wait for few seconds for notebook to open.
Also check if the browser you are using is giving trouble, change the browser.
Please let me know if you still have issue accessing to the notebook assignment.
Regards
DP
Same thing happened to me (I’m on a Pro free trial). For reference, here’s what I was seeing the first time I landed on that page:
Then, after clicking “Submit Assignment”, I got an empty submission:
Clearing the site data and re-login seem to have fixed the problem:
hey Hi @jsan
thanks for the detailed reporting of this issue. I will inform the learning technologist of this course but for now always before starting any graded section be it quiz or assignment, always make sure to clear cache and browsing history.
some learners might face still issue depending on their firewall settings or browser choice. It was also advised to change browser in case one doesn’t work.
Also can you let me know were you using chrome browser??

Hi @Deepti_Prasad,
I am using Chrome (version 139.0.7258.139) on an M1 macbook pro. An easy workaround (while you guys sort this out) would be to put a little blurb under the TIPS card suggesting the site/cache clearing if the notebook isn’t visible.
I already suggested this solution to be added in the classroom page until a permanent resolution is found.
Regards
DP
