Values in box_confidence in YOLO assignment

Hi, Some values are greater than 1 after the broadcasting: box_scores = box_confidence*box_class_probs how can it be? shouldn’t all values be smaller than 1?

Hi all. I’m working on the first assignment of week 3 of CNN. The function I’m working on is UNQ C1 def yolo_filter_boxes(boxes, box_confidence, box_class_probs, threshold = .6) I believe that box_confidence and box_class_probs are probalities, in which case they should be between 0 and 1. However, they’re defined as tf.random.normal([shape], mean=1, stddev=4, seed = 1) in the function cell that runs this function, which do not sit between 0 and 1. Some of these classes have been available for as many as 7 years. Over time, the fora have accumulated answers that may directly relate to or outright solve questions you might be having.
