Vectorization vs looping

Is there a case that we should use looping instead of vectorization?

I cannot think of any practical reason that one will go for looping when vectorization can work, but if someone is not familiar with vectorization, they might want to do looping for cross-checking.

In my opinion, no.

I guess in the case of learning it is actually good to use looping.
For getting a better grasp of what’s happening behind the scene.
