Good day everyone. First post. New to this. Completing Andrew Ng’s AI for everyone. Finished week one yesterday and took the test. I completed week 2 today, but it wont let me take the test. I assume then i could only take one test per week? Or is there a work around of one who wants to complete the course rapidly.
What was the outcome? I contacted courseara for mine and see what they said below. I have done all the material so i think it is just locked by the instructor. How do we get this sorted?
Thank you for reaching out. I understand that you are having trouble accessing the Week 2 quiz in the ‘AI for Everyone’ course. Based on the information provided, it seems that the quiz is locked and will be unlocked when the session starts. This can happen for a few reasons:
Completing Previous Course Items: Ensure that you have completed all the previous items in the module, including videos, readings, discussion prompts, or ungraded assessments. Completed items will be displayed with a green checkmark on the overview page for that module.
Locked by Course Staff: In some cases, instructors may choose to make assessments available during specific date ranges. These assessments will be locked if you try to access them before or after those dates. You can open the assessment to see when it will be unlocked.
Please check these points and see if they apply to your situation. If you have completed all the required items and the quiz is still locked, it might be due to the course schedule set by the instructor.
Hi Marcel and Karen. Thank you for reporting this! It looks like a platform bug. Is there a message that appears when you hover over the locked item? Please try it on a non-mobile platform. Also, please send me (via direct message – click my name then the blue Message button) the email address you’re using for Coursera. Will forward it to our partners for checking. Thanks.
Asked them a couple of weeks ago as well and they said the same thing
I have the problem on Desktop as well, not only mobile. I can’t seem to dm you to send you my mail @chris.favila
Interestingly my first week went smoothly and the last 3 weeks are really in a row without any big gap between them
Hi everyone. The issue is marked as “In progress” in our internal tracker with Coursera. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon. I’ll ask them today and let you know.
Hi, and thank you for reporting. Will re-escalate the issue with Coursera. It might take a day or two to resolve though because it’s the weekend. I’m sorry for the experience. I’ll update here as soon as I hear back from them.
