What should I learn first in this field?

I need your help guys to dive in this field in best practices so what should I start with first?

@f4sam I think just about everyone here recommends starting with the Machine Learning Specialization first–

However, with the new Data Engineering specialization (which I have not taken), I’m not sure if that is still the case ?

Typically Data Engineering and ML Engineering have been separate roles/have a different focus-- So I think it also depends on what you want to do.

The DE course is brand new and has a lot of issues to work through - I don’t think it would be a good experience as a first course.

If you have some essential Python programming skills and know how to multiply two vectors (i.e. you understand what a dot product is), then the Machine Learning Specialization would serve as a great introduction.

Or you could start with “AI For Everyone” as a sampler.
