Which specialisation?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some guidance around what specialisation to enrol into after completing the ML one.
I’m quite interested in audio transcription, especially in languages other than English and I’m wondering which specialisation will teach me more about that topic. Is it “Deep Learning” or “Natural Language Processing”?
All advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Tarek

I think the Deep Learning Specialization will give you a broad background into more complex models, and more sophisticated tools.

That will set you up well for further studies.

Thanks, @TMosh!

I would generally agree with what @TMosh says. In NLPS there is no addressing of audio at all, whereas there is at least ‘a little’ in DLS.

Or at least in NLPS, maybe you can ‘imagine’ it when we get to BERT and T3, but you’d have to be a little creative.

Even though I’ve read about some recent problems with it, if you wanted to sort of ‘dive right in’, I’d still check out OpenAI’s ‘Whisper’: https://openai.com/index/whisper/
