Why do we divide by 11 in C1_W1_Lab_2_solving_linear_systems_2_variables

Why do we divide by 11 when solving the following Linear Equation in Jupyter Notebook?
Was this an arbitrary decision where 11 is simply a factor for the value we’re trying to solve for?
Or was there some other reason?

Hello @naomatheus
We have 11. X_{2} = 22

the goal is to have X_{2} alone on the left side of the equation, so to eliminate 11 (or any other number) we divide both sides of the equation with 11. Hope this was your question.
