This is the notebook i’ve passed all the tests and the grader still give me "There was an error grading your submission. Details:
‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘name’ "
in format_relevant_data exercise which is very easy but i don’t know why gives my that error!
(I’m sorry if there any mistakes, actually English is not my mother language)
I have not received any answer so far.
I have previously enrolled in more than 8 courses with DeepLearning.AI and never faced such an issue. I kindly ask you to resolve this problem because I have passed all the exams except this one, and now I am unable to obtain my certificate.
Hey @Naji17, jumping in here - I see you’re having an issue with the Module 1 assignment. From that error message, my thoughts are that one of the None placeholders in the graded cell for Exercise 2 wasn’t replaced, specifically the line: formatted_documents = None.
Take a look at the comment right above it: #Create a list to store the formatted documents. That’s a great hint on what this variable should be.
I’ve passed all the tests successfully. The problem only appears when I try to submit the assignment.
Can I share the notebook with you privately so you can take a look?
I am also facing same issue for C1M1_Assignment for RAG. Passed all the unit test cases while submitting I am getting error for pprint is not defined. Could you please help?
Could you please double-check whether there are any pprint calls within the get_relevant_data function? Based on the error you’re seeing, it seems like there might be a pprint call somewhere. Thank you for taking another look! Sometimes we just miss a line.
yes there was pprint in one of the graded cell. Now I am not getting the pprint issue & able to submit the assignment.
Thanks for your suggestion for taking another look!
@LaurenRitter@lucas.coutinho I am happy to share that I have completed the RAG course & got the certificate. Could you suggest next course in the AI journey ?
Congrats @shahidlk, great to hear! Happy to give some suggestions. What areas of AI interest you most, have you taken any other DLAI courses? I personally loved both the ML and NLP specializations.
DLAI has specializations in all three of those areas! The ML specialization is a great starting place if you want a strong foundation in model intuition, math, etc. For after the ML specialization, if you liked the retrieval + semantic matching in the RAG process, I’d say NLP is a natural next step. If you’re curious about how the LLM generates responses, go for DL.
Yep as @TMosh mentioned there is a comprehensive NLP specialization from DL.AI. It’s 4 courses long, so it’s a commitment, but I was able to immediately apply everything I’ve learned from that specialization to my own projects (NLP is my main area of interest). Highly recommend!
