Five years too early. The technology is not mature enough for the uninformed way that consumers will try to use it.

IMHO, On device AI technology that leverages the Qiualcom snapdragon processor technology which is present in most mobile devices in concert with Edge computing will have significant impact in the market place within 2 years. It is already being used to improve service performance at the 5G network level, and the use cases that will enhance consumer spending are expanding quickly.
As a customer, I don’t see that as an advantage of AI.
