However, I feel that even though the courses are well organized, too much guidance are provided in the assignments.

I dropped the coursera course though due to time constraints and because it’s too theoretical, I’m working on a showcase project rn using dbt, for job applications as a data engineer… This week I’m quite flexible timewise, I’m in Colombia GMT-05 timezone, how about you?
Hello Paulin,
The first course of the specialization was very theoretical indeed. The second course is much more practical. Right now, I am at the point in the course where we are delving more into infrastructure as code and Terraform. And I hope there are other good things to come in this course. So I will try to stick with the specialization and earn the certification.Then, I’ll do personal projects if I still don’t feel ready.
If you have found a better learning path, I will be glad to discuss with you.
