C2w3 lab 2 - the terminal crashes

Hi,

In the lab2 of course 2 week 3 (implementing monitoring with amazon cloudwatch), I am stuck at section 2. The lab requires terraform init → terraform plan → terraform apply. But, my terminal in vscode keeps crashing everytime I hit “terraform apply”. I have also tried the command from practice lab 1 (terraform apply -no-color 2> errors.txt) and it hasn’t helped so far. I have attached a screenshot of the vscode in this topic.

I would so much appreciate it if someone could help me out with this matter.

I just got the same error message after restarting the lab, sometimes, ‘terraform apply’ leads to another error without crashing:

Hope this can be solved soon.

I’m having the same problem Mohammad mentioned. Does anyone know how to fix it?

@mapate You are right. I can reproduce the issue. I reported internally. I will keep you posted once there is an update from the team.
