How should c_for_benefit_score handle the situation when permissible count is zero, maybe due to bad data, etc..?

Yes same assignment. I don’t see the error but just a general question about this observation

in such cases, c benefit score cannot be calculated (as the denominator is 0 ) or stated as undefined but usually such situation is caused by insufficient data, or may be indicative of re-evaluation and/or analysis of data is required.
Remember c-benefit–score is predictive score and ideally actual risk reduction cannot be calculated. please refer this
