Dear Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m currently enrolled in the AWS Data Engineer specialization, and I’m experiencing difficulties with one of the hands-on programming assignments.

In particular, during the Course 3, Week 2 Programming Assignment — I seem to have made mistakes in editing or submitting some of the files in the lab environment. As a result, I am now unable to proceed with the assignment because my code files contain incorrect content or configurations that I’m unable to reverse.

I have attempted to resolve the issues on my own, but I believe a clean reset of the lab folder or environment would be the best solution.

Would it be possible for my lab environment (especially the code folders/files) to be reset so I can start the assignment from scratch?

I really appreciate your assistance and look forward to continuing the course smoothly.

Hi there,

To get the original lab files back, just follow these steps:

  1. Create a new folder and move your current lab files into it (you can call it old_files).
  2. Click on the Lab Help icon (the question mark in the top-right corner).
  3. Then click “Get the latest version.”
