Hi, I’m getting many issues with the terraform environment, when I start deploying the changes in terraform, the environment freezes and I have to restart the lab to recover the management of it, once I recover the management I try to deploy again the changes in terraform and it starts to show me this error:
I confirm that every time I restart the environment I run the command ‘source scripts/setup.sh’ in the terminal, and then run the changes in the terraform environment.
I would like your help validating or providing a solution as it is frustrating considering it is repetitive.
Is there any way to restore and start from scratch?
I understand it is a repetitive process but it is needed to set those variables. You need to run source scripts/setup.sh before you go to terraform folder every time the terminal restarts, crashes or clears its output.
The frustrating part comes after that happens and the environment freezes and you need to reload. There could be existing resources and terraform will keep on crashing in the same spot.
You can check errors.txt file and try to delete them manually or you could wait a few hours for a new lab session to clear them. There is also the lab refresh form that will take 1-2 business days to complete. Sorry the inconvenience and I hope you have better luck
the same process it’s happening again, I had to fix something in the code and now I’m trying to deploy the changes in terraform and this errors throw out :
It seems you ran the job and tried to terraform apply without the job finish running. You could delete that job from AWS console. Then try again running the job:
