Can temperature setting be greater than 1?

Please correct me if I’m wrong, I have always thought the temperature is between 0 and 1 for the LLMs where 0 means deterministic output and 1 means non-deterministic or creative output.

In Week 3, LLM-powered application > Model optimizations for deployment lecture, there is a slide where the Temperature > 1 is mentioned, have I missed something or understood it wrong.? Can someone help me understand this slide.?

It should depend on the LLM and its setting, the temperature can be set as any range as long as the model understands what its purpose is!
