Hi, my name is Chris, aka USERONE, as the title states.
I’m a tattoo artist and aspiring programmer. I’ve been building PC’s since I was about 13, but nothing serious, just for gaming.
Started getting into coding about 3 years ago during the Crypto Craze(started with Solidity) and I’m still learning.
Currently working on learning how to master Linux(i want to be able to work without a GUI, here comes ARCH!) Python, and regular C. I just received the opportunity to actually be able to sit down and focus so I’m taking advantage of this while I can.
My current goal is getting 1000+ hours of programming experience in within the next 180 day period. I’m not an expert, but if you have a project you’re working on and need a hand, I would be happy to assist because I’m looking to gain experience.
I have been diddling with OpenAI’s products since about 2022 and thought it was very interesting when I asked a davinci-codex model to produce a smart contract in python, translate it into byte code then solidity and received such a detailed response. Very excited to be here and currently working locally with a small model from IBM (granite-code:3b).
