Course1 Week 3 Lab - Unable to create t3.nano template

I select t3.nano and then click on create template version

It then scrolls to the network interface area

Subnetwork
subnet-019014e7bf6d41aa2

EC2 Auto Scaling Template Network ( テンプレートのサブネットを削除). Sorry it is in Japanese on my computer. It seems to be asking me to remove a subnetwork.

The number of network interface is currently 0.

Perhaps this is related, but I also have 4 security groups (only 3 in video)

de-c1w3-alb-sg [sg-0fe627e99f5a56169] ALB Security Group 992382438477
de-c1w3-ec2-sg [sg-0f78f61658778ce74] EC2SecurityGroup-1LBAZnjG0eeq
sg-0ca4a55a5eac83fe6) default
sg-0e835930739eb59b5) default

I also see this error

User: arn:aws:sts::992382438477:assumed-role/voclabs/user3548581=Paul_Creaser is not authorized to perform: freetier:GetFreeTierUsage on resource: arn:aws:freetier:us-east-1:992382438477:/GetFreeTierUsage because no identity-based policy allows the freetier:GetFreeTierUsage action

Perhaps this is connected to the problem

When starting a new lab session, is the new session still polluted with the previous setting mishaps. I assume I made a bad click somewhere, and playing around with settings, deleting templates etc… just seems to be digging an even deeper hole.

Hello @PaulCreaser , I think your error is in step 7.1.4. that you have to uncheck that box. I am getting a similar error when I try to create the t3.nano version:
mentor_C1W3_subnet_notick

My mistake. Problem solved.

Thank you for the feedback.

Have to make sure I watch the video, and follow the instructions on the web page, without skipping any sections.
