I had to retry it about 5 times. It also succeeded partially one time, another try fixed that.
It also helped to delete a second file that had a copy I made of the test . I think the grading is assuming a single .py file in the notebook
I tried about 13 time and reset the whole assignment did it again from scratch,still it is giving me same error “graded error” , I don’t understand how to fix it. My course is completed to 99 % but because of this graded assignment I am unable to get certificate. Can u give me any other tip to Handel this issue.

I’ve completed the programming assignment “Identifying Vulnerable Communities using the U.S. Census API” from Module 2 of the course “Data I/O and Preprocessing with Python and SQL” by DeepLearning.AI.
Despite obtaining the same outputs as those shown in the expected results, I received only 65% from the auto-grader. I’ve double-checked my code, verified every cell, and even consulted multiple LLMs, which confirmed the correctness of my solutions.
The file I submitted was titled:
C4M2_Assignment-1.ipynb
I’ve already contacted Coursera Support (case #05575509), and they recommended I bring the issue to this community so that the teaching staff can review it directly.
Could someone please help confirm if this might be a bug in the grader?
Hi. Please create a new post for this issue. Also, please remove the -1 from the filename. Otherwise, the grader will check the other notebook with the default filename. Also, please include the error messages you’ve been getting from the grader. Thanks.
For reference, the issue with Palwasha’s notebook is just a malformed query in exercise 8. With that, please make sure that all the notebook cells run, then save the notebook before submitting.
