Has anybody got any experience with setting up DeepSeek to run on their local machine? What kind of specs do you need? In terms of GPU and RAM etc… Thanks.

Thanks. I only have a very cheap laptop. It doesn’t have much RAM and possibly doesn’t even have a separate graphics card at all. It is also running low on disk space. My problem is that I keep getting “Server Busy” errors on the website. I need DeepSeek-R1 for mathematical reasoning. Do you know if there are any other cloud servers that I can use? Or can I pay for a premium service? Thanks again.
