Demo: Spreadsheet simulation - normal

Hi,

I am currently taking the Applied Statistics for Data Analysis course. It seems that in the video “Demo: Spreadsheet Simulation - Normal” (Module 2), the section where the instructor regenerates the random sample may have been cut out, which could be confusing for learners.

Timecode: 02:30 — The instructor begins calculating the mean and standard deviation for a normal distribution that does not have a clear peak in the middle.
However, at 02:32, the mean and standard deviation are calculated for another normal distribution — this time with a distinct peak in the middle.

It is still clear that the lecturer aims to demonstrate the importance of verifying whether a normal distribution derived from a random sample truly represents a normal distribution. We can also infer that the lecturer regenerated the random sample.

A brief note before the video could clarify that the random sample was regenerated because the first one did not properly represent a normal distribution.

Thanks.
