Hello everyone,
I have a school project that involves studying and researching the code of two deep learning models: Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Adversarial Neural Networks (I’m not sure about the translation because I study in French and the actual names are: Réseaux Adversariaux Génératifs and Réseaux de Neurones Adverses).
I really can’t find the difference between these two because I found that they seem to be the same thing.

You are kind of right. GANs are a subset within the broader concept of Adversarial Neural Networks. So, you can begin with adversarial networks as a group and then dial down to GANs as a form of Adversarial Neural Networks.

is the adversarial networks the same thing as adversarial training ?

Hello, as far as i understand the GAN is a neural network which generanes outputs by using another neural network oposing its output.
The other one I think it refers to protection of neural networks against external AI threats…
