Eleni from Greece! Hello everyone!

My name is Eleni.

My country is surrounded by the sea for the most part, and the distant horizon has always been something that nurtured curiosity in us as a people.

I am currently following Andrew’s course “AI for Everyone.” I have the intuition that AI may become something like Pandora’s box for future societies, and I feel a certain responsibility—as a member of today’s society—not to behave as naively as Pandora did.

So far, I have not found a way to introduce AI into my everyday work as a public administrative employee. For now, I simply try to learn as much as I can about it and understand it better.

I would truly appreciate guidance from the community on how I could explore it more deeply and continue learning.

Are you interested in writing your own code to create AI tools?

Or are you interested in learning how to use tools that are already available (i.e. chat bots, generative AI, etc).

Thank you very much for your prompt response — it is truly encouraging for continuing the learning journey.

I would be more interested in the second option you mentioned, namely learning how to use the existing AI tools (such as chatbots and generative AI) and exploring how they could be integrated into my everyday professional work.

After you complete AI for Everyone, the next step would be to look at the DL.AI catalog of Short Courses.

They’re available on a lot of topics. Many are more like demonstrations about a specific AI tool. But they’re all free to attend, so that’s nice.

If you want more detailed study, then DL.AI has a lot of full-length courses available, with programming assignments and grading if you sign up for a “Pro” membership.

Look at learn.deeplearning.ai and use the search tools to see what’s available.
