Expected Value of a function lesson

I think there is something wrong with the lesson because when I compute these values using a calculator, I don’t get the same “Wins” the professor shows in the presentation.
1.

In particular, how does it go from 10-5 to 1, or from 12-5 to 2?

2. It also shows that this gives -0.5 but the calculator shows a different result. Am I wrong? Why?
