Assalam-o-Alaikum (Hello) everyone!

I’m Faheem Alam Khan from Upper Swat, a student of FSc Computer Science at Government Degree College Mingora, Swat.

I recently enrolled in the Deep Learning Specialization by Andrew Ng on Coursera. The course was kindly gifted to me by my cousin, and I’m currently setting up access to a proper PC so I can dive into the content soon.

I’m only the one from my village to be deeply interested in AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, and I aim to build a strong foundation that can lead me toward a career in AI development or research. I believe technology can play a big role in solving local and global challenges, and I’m excited to be part of this learning journey but….. Unfortunately…..

Hi, Faheem.

Welcome to the forums and to the DLS specialization. You just need a web browser to access the DLS courses, so you could also use a tablet instead of a PC. The only thing is that you once you get to the programming assignments you will want to have a keyboard. I’ve successfully used a tablet (e.g. an iPad) with a keyboard for that.

You could get started listening to the lectures even on a phone.
