Grading Error on Submission

**I have made 3 submissions on Exercise 2 in week 2 (Advanced Deployment Scenarios with TensorFlow), but I keep getting the same error on submission. This is the message I got after submission

SyntaxError: unexpected EOF while parsing

**I have checked my code over and over again, it seems that the error is not from my code but from the Coursera’s internal grading system (**Coursera grader parsing bug)
Please I need help to resolve this challenge

Searching the forum for that error message finds this thread from a few years ago that has two students with exactly the same error message in that same course. The second student seems to be describing what they did to remedy the error, although I have not taken that course so I don’t have access to that notebook to examine the code.

@OF4

can you DM me screenshot of your UNQC1 codes.

hi @OF4

@paulinpaloalto gave the exact correct thread for you to refer.

for the args, the way you have mentioned parameters to their respective variables might have caused a syntax error, instead mention the args code in a single line and do not use enter.

for example use
args={export_path=your code, buffer_size=your code, batch_size=your code, learning_rate=your code, epochs=your code}

do not use :backhand_index_pointing_down:
args={export_path=your code,
buffer_sizs=your code,
batch_size=your code
…
}

Python reached the EOF (End of File/Line) which could be because of modification in how codes were provided before your wrote your code, misplaced a closing parenthesis ) or bracket in their code, or left a line unfinished within code cell.

In your case it more looks like the closing bracket for ARGS has caused the syntax error

ALSO I NOTICED THERE ARE NO CODE MARKERS, SO I HOPE YOU HAVEN’T MODIFIED THE GRADE FUNCTION CELLS, AND THAT’S WHY ENCOUNTERING FAILED SUBMISSION.

Please follow assignment submission instructions strictly, failing to do so, will again cause you failed submission and discomfort।

Dr. Deepti

@paulinpaloalto Thank you for your response.

@Deepti_Prasad Thank you for your response. I followed your advise, I made the args code in a single line and it worked. I have “passed” the assignment. I appreciate your support.
