Help deciding on next steps after DLS?

Hello.

I am currently take the Deep Leaning Specialization. I love the courses, and i think i’m making good progress.

I would like to do at least 1+ more course specializations, but i’m not sure which to take, and in what order?

I am still early into this journey, so i don’t want to get too narrow.

That being said, there are only so many hours in a lifetime, and i know my top priority is getting deeper into LLM’s, multimodal, building domain specific LLM/chatbots (including the use of fine-tuning, transfer learning).

I assume getting skill with particular tools/platforms like TensorFlow, Hugging Face, AWS/Google tools, etc… would be important?

Here are some Specialization candidates (please let me know if i’m missing something important)…

  • Natural Language Processing Specialization
  • TensorFlow: Data and Deployment Specialization
  • TensorFlow Developer Professional Certificate

I definitely would like to take the NLP Specialization.
Should i also take the TensorFlow paths? Both?
Am i missing any must-take courses?

Is there any other follow-on training course recommendations outside of deeplearning.ai?

Thank you for your help.

I do not suggest TensorFlow: Data and Deployment Specialization at this stage. First, take the other two specializations. Also, consider TensorFlow: Advanced Techniques Specialization. And, I am not sure about Learn the fundamentals of generative AI for real-world applications.

Thanks Saif.

Which do you recommend taking first; NLP or TensorFlow Developer?

I would suggest taking the TensorFlow Developer Professional Certificate first. It also covers how to do NLP tasks using TF (but not theory). After that, you can go for NLP. And, before diving into any of these, complete the DLS (Deep Leaning Specialization).
