Hey everyone: looking for people to build ADCS and orbital mechanics related stuff using AI as a beginner

Hey everyone!

I’m Inbisat, and I’m passionate about applying AI to space technology. My main focus is on developing ADCS (Attitude Determination and Control Systems) and control algorithms for small satellites. I’m particularly interested in how AI can optimize satellite stabilization, improve maneuvering precision, and enhance overall mission efficiency.

I have experience working on orbital mission analysis for a CubeSat constellation and have a strong background in physics, orbital mechanics, and satellite systems. As I dive deeper into AI, I’m eager to explore how machine learning can transform spacecraft operations, from fault detection to autonomous navigation. Looking forward to learning, sharing ideas, and connecting with like-minded space and AI enthusiasts!

Welcome to the community.

Those sound like exciting projects!

There are two main challenges to applying Machine Learning methods to any problem:

  • Clearly define your goals. What exactly are you trying to implement?
  • Obtaining a useful dataset from which you can train the model to achieve those goals.
