In Lab 1 cannot load transformers and datasets in Step 1

This has taken more than 24h. How long are we supposed to stand by? As working professionals we get limited time to complete career courses and can’t afford to wait this long.

Hi everyone. Sorry but the the team is still working on this. We are also developing a workaround while the bug is not fixed. I’ll update again here in a couple of hours regarding the status.

Week#3 lab is the only pending item for me, and the course is due in two days. Hopefully there will be a workaround or possible extension of the due date.

Hi again. We’re making progress on the workaround but still have to test and move around some files. Target for deployment is within the next 24 hours (but likely sooner). Apologies for the delay. Please know that we’re doing our best to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Another update. We have a workaround in place but needs approval from our partners before deploying. Will update here when we hear back.

Hello again! The issue should now be fixed. If you have the lab open right now, you will have to start a new instance (i.e. relaunch the lab from Coursera) to have the latest change. Thank you for your patience and I apologize that you had to wait this long. Hope it works on your end!

Hi. You can safely ignore those errors. Chris Fregly alluded to these type of errors in the walkthrough in class. It’s an older version of the notebook but still applies here.
