I think you were asking about the following slide:
Andrew said \frac{\partial{J}}{\partial{d}}=2 because (i) \frac{\partial{J}}{\partial{d}}=d and (ii) d=2. I don’t hear him said 2d, only 2. Let me know if I have missed out something
